I love this quote. When I saw it, I immediately agreed with the sentiments. After reading it a second time, I realized that motherhood and raising babies is actually quite similar. You absolutely move from moods to moments. You can plan your days, have a list of to-dos, and be organized, but ultimately, your day goes as well as baby's mood. Motherhood has high tides and low, but if you learn to play in the waves, it is a beautiful journey.

Meet Alexandria. She has already given birth to a beautiful baby girl. She and her husband were stationed in Hawaii before moving to San Diego. I love that they wanted to incorporate the beach and a pineapple to incorporate that part of who they are. We chose the Oceanside Pier as our location because of the different visual elements. I love the sun shining through the pier, the waves crashing on the rocks, and the sunset we witnessed. Everything was beautful, just like this expectant mother.
