My name is Chrissy and I'm a San Diego Family Photographer. I am a sentimental mama who cherishes the little things. I'm the type to save every birthday card ever given to me, every drawing my beautiful daughters have ever created , and every wilted flower picked just for me. I keep memories preserved in photographs and scrapbooks. I'm a night owl, staying up late editing images; My own and clients of course. I love to feel the way I did the moment I snapped the photo.

Speaking of family, I have been married to my husband since August 2007, and together we have two blonde-hair, blue-eyed girls. We met through a friend, got engaged in a month, married after 364 days, and here we are...parents! Our girls have really added more to our lives than we could have ever imagined. And I cannot forget about our first-born, Sadie. She is our 10-year old pitbull and probably the greatest dog on planet Earth, no joke. Together, we love camping in the desert, off-roading, weekday beach trips, BBQs, and game night! If you follow me on facebook or instagram, you will get to know us more through our hashtag #wearethewalthers!

As a photographer, there are two ways I can describe my work: authentic connection and beautiful light. In my images, you will often see the essence of childhood and parenthood, connection between my subjects, and beautiful light illuminating an equally beautiful setting. I have often heard clients say they thought they wanted the perfectly posed shots yet when they received their galleries, they loved the candid shots more. I love a great portrait, don't get me wrong, I just feel your session is far more important to stop there. I am documenting you and your family right now. Childhood lasts only a short while. There isn't a time where we are more filled with awe and wonder at the world around us. There isn't a time where popping bubbles or playing tag is more exciting. There isn't a time where we look to mom or dad for a hug or a loving kiss on a boo-boo more. All of life's moments, big and small, deserve to be remembered forever. My hope it that I will be the one to do that for your family too.

Thank you for stopping by!

Your friend, Chrissy.

I never change, I simply become more myself.
